Cece Benz

Cece Benz is a nineteen-year-old artist from Atlanta, GA. Her original music effortlessly blends singer-songwriter acoustic with indie pop and a hint of soul. Cece’s talent as a storyteller and unique voice make her both captivating and immediately recognizable. She has performed all over metro Atlanta, Nashville, and Boston, headlining multiple shows at venues including Eddie’s Attic and Smith’s Olde Bar.  Cece has been featured in Writer’s Block showcases in Nashville at Analog at The Hutton Hotel, and Atlanta at Eddie’s Attic.  She is a regular performer with Sofar Sounds, playing shows in several locations in Atlanta and Boston.

Cece Benz began writing and performing original music at the age of twelve, playing open mics, farmers markets and similar venues all over Atlanta.  At the same time, she started working with “Mama Jan” Smith and Jan Smith Studios. Her songwriting and performances began attracting attention as she won local open mics and undiscovered artist events, and garnered serious attention by finishing as the runner-up at the Eddie’s Attic 50th Bi-Annual Open Mic Shootout at the age of fourteen. She recorded and released her debut single, Hit Girl, at the age of fifteen, with Jan Smith and Jesse Owen Astin, at Jan Smith Studios in Atlanta, GA. Cece Benz is currently a student at Berklee College of Music in Boston, studying songwriting and vocal performance.  She recorded her debut EP in Nashville this summer at BruNjo Studios and is set to release the first single from that EP in November of 2023, with the full EP to follow.Cece Benz has leveraged her talents to promote and support worthy causes, such as performing for the 7th Annual Tower of Talent, broadcast on NBC affiliate WXIA- 11Alive, Georgia Has Talent, and the Delta Double Play Benefit Bash for the Rally Foundation.You can find her on Instagram and TikTok @cecebenzmusic and on YouTube @cecebenzmusic
